“Challenges will always exist. It’s OK to fine-tune your savings strategy and adjust your expectations when things change.”
For Cheyenne Knight, the sky is the limit both on the golf course and as a brand ambassador for Empower.
Since turning professional in 2018 following a decorated career at the University of Alabama, Knight has already begun building a championship foundation for her future. Knight, a three-time All-American in college, reached the top of the leaderboard at the Volunteers of America Classic in 2019 to earn her first victory on the LPGA Tour.
Whether she's standing tall in the heat of competition or stepping up in her community, Knight upholds the same standard of trust, integrity and purpose that embodies the winning game plan at Empower.
Knight’s career highlights include:
- Winner of the Volunteers of America Classic in 2019
- Multiple top-20 finishes
- Several victories as an amateur
- Three-time All-American at Alabama
- 2017 SEC Player of the Year
The partnership has opened the door for Knight and Empower to work together to focus on the unique financial challenges that many younger women face today. Knight contributes regular blog posts to provide an authentic and influential voice on key topics.
“Cheyenne’s pure joy for the sport radiates every single time she steps on the course,” said Edmund Murphy III, president and CEO of Empower. “Her enthusiasm is what attracts fans — and her skills are what keeps them fans. We’re proud to partner with a young, rising champion.”
I’m a big — no, a huge! — believer in setting goals, writing them down and evaluating them along the way.
Besides being on the golf course, there’s nothing quite like being in the kitchen with my family and making good food together.
I’m Cheyenne Knight — and I’ve been competing on the LPGA Tour since 2019. I’m excited to tee off my “Knight Life” blog with Empower Retirement and share some thoughts and stories around, well, life!
