Positive energy.

Positive results.

Mariah Stackhouse, a rising star on the LPGA Tour, joined the Empower team as a brand ambassador in 2021. As a standout golfer at Stanford University, where she was a four-time All-American, Stackhouse began building a strong foundation for a championship future. In addition to recording several top-10 finishes in her professional career, she became the youngest African-American woman to earn a spot in the field at the U.S. Women’s Open when she qualified for the event at age 17 in 2011.

As a leader on the course and in her community, Stackhouse’s commitment to elevating her game and living world-class values aligns with the same winning culture, vision and promise that drive success at Empower. Her great spirit and dedication have helped her open new doors for so many talented athletes.

Stackhouse’s career highlights include:

  • LPGA Tour card in 2017
  • Multiple top-10 finishes on the LPGA Tour
  • Youngest African-American golfer to ever qualify for the U.S. Women’s Open
  • Four-time All-American at Stanford
  • Member of victorious U.S. Curtis Cup team

“Mariah embodies the kind of dedication to craft that we admire and strive for at Empower,” said Edmund F. Murphy III, president and CEO of Empower. “She often speaks about her attention to and study of the women in the sport who came before her — and she draws on their stories for inspiration and improvement. She has described her career as a journey, and we are happy to be with her on that journey.”

My competition is definitely always with myself.
