Empower Retirement statement on the passing of Denver Broncos owner Pat Bowlen

Empower Retirement joins our partners, the Denver Broncos, Broncos Nation, and the broader Denver community in expressing our heartfelt sympathies to the Bowlen family on the passing of Pat Bowlen.

Mr. Bowlen was a legend in his time.  His contributions to the community, to Denver, and the NFL are matched only by the kindness, humility and wisdom he showed to those around him.

Mr. Bowlen was truly devoted to the pursuit of excellence on the football field and in the community. One of the most successful owners in NFL history, his legacy will endure through the team he built, the community he served and his well-deserved recognition as a Pro Football Hall of Famer.  He will be greatly missed.
