GREENWOOD VILLAGE, Colo., June 21, 2020 —  Empower Retirement congratulates professional golfer and marketing partner Webb Simpson on a dramatic, final-round win at the RBC Heritage tournament, which concluded June 21 at Harbour Town Golf Links in Hilton Head, SC.

Simpson birdied five of his last seven holes on Sunday to shoot a 7-under 64 in the fourth round and finished one shot ahead of Abraham Ancer and two shots ahead of Daniel Berger and Tyrrell Hatton.

“It was great to watch Webb win the Heritage, particularly with his persistence throughout the weekend, which allowed him to prevail for a final-round victory on Sunday," said Empower Retirement President and CEO Edmund F. He is currently ranked number one on the FedEx Cup standings, in the top five on the Official World Golf Ranking and number two in the Ryder Cup standings. He recently won the 2020 Waste Management Phoenix Open.  The RBC Heritage represents his seventh PGA Tour title. This  is his 12th year as a pro.
