Starting January 1, 2026, Rady Children's Hospital — San Diego retirement plans will transition from Fidelity to Empower.

Update on the blackout period

To support a smooth transition, the blackout period has been extended and is now expected to end by January 26, 2026.

During the blackout period, you will not be able to access your account while your plan records are transferred to Empower. Your investments will continue to be invested during the blackout period and remain subject to market changes.

Once the blackout period ends, you'll be able to register your account, make transactions, and explore tools to support your savings and retirement goals — all available in English and Spanish.
